ABOUT GRAD NITE
Grad Nite will take place on the night of Poway High School's graduation, June 12 2025, to provide our seniors a safe, drug- and alcohol-free way to celebrate their accomplishments and come together one last night as the class of 2025.
Grad Nite is more than a party – it’s going to be SPECTACULAR! Poway High will have Belmont park to ourselves, all the Giant Dipper you can stand! There will be food and refreshments all night long, games, rides, prizes and more!
Dress for the seniors is casual and comfortable. Students must wear their Grad Nite T-shirt as it will serve as their "ticket" into Grad Nite. T-shirts are included with the ticket price and will be distributed at the Senior Breakfast in June.
Students must take the provided PUSD transportation to and from the event. Personal carpooling is not allowed.

Grad Nite Policies and Procedures
Poway High Grad Nite is for the PHS Class of 2025, only. No guests will be admitted.
PHS CLASS OF 2025 GRADS MUST PRESENT THEIR PHS ID CARD AND BE WEARING THEIR GRAD NIGHT TSHIRT TO ENTER GRAD NITE.
The party begins at 8:30 pm at the bus loop at PHS and ends at the same location at 2:30 am. All grads must be onboard PUSD transport bus no later than 9:30 pm. Parents will be notified of all grads not checked in. This is a tentative timeline and the final will be posted and distributed as we get closer to the event.
Students only need their PHS ID card. Everything they need will be supplied. No additional money is needed. No water bottles, drinks, or food allowed. Your ticket price includes EVERYTHING you’ll need for a fantastic time, including food, games, rides, prizes and entertainment. All backpacks and purses will be checked-in upon admission. Access to these items during the evening may be obtained only with the help of security personnel. We encourage students to leave phones at home. We are not responsible for and cannot guarantee the security of these items or cell phones and other electric devices, so please bring only what is absolutely necessary. Grads should plan to dress casually. The Grad Nite T-shirt is a must to enter Grad Nite.
For security purposes, all students may be breathalyzed, and all bags will be searched upon entry. We strongly urge all graduates not to bring anything more than their PHS ID card, and a sweater or jacket.
Possession of alcohol and/or drugs will not be tolerated. Attendees with these items will be detained and parents immediately notified. All PHS and PUSD rules will be enforced.
All school rules apply to medications. They cannot be dispensed without parental permission. If your student needs medication, please send the medication and a signed note. Our security team will hold the medication for your student in the first aid area. A signed note is also required for any student needing medications that must be carried, such as asthma inhalers, Epi-pens, etc.
If a student needs to leave during the event, due to illness or another very pressing reason, a parent will be notified and must PERSONALLY pick up their graduate at Belmont Park. It does not matter if the student is 18. No graduate may leave early unless checked out and picked up by the graduate's parent/guardian. Parents of your student's friends will not be permitted to pick-up your child before they are released at 2:30am. No student will be released from the event barring an unforeseen emergency.
Parents, please pick up your tired graduate at 2:30am in front of the school. Again, please consider the importance of this request in keeping our kids safe. To reduce traffic, carpooling is recommended.
